The vermilion arched bridge (taikobashi) is a photogenic spot, and the shrine draws huge crowds for Hatsumode (New Year's visit) every year, with the Sumiyoshi Festival in summer. In front of the shrine, retro Hankai Tram (chin-chin train) runs, evoking a nostalgic Showa-era vibe. In the evening, grab dinner at Kushitora (2 min walk) or Bistro La Mer (4 min walk), and pick up late-night snacks at the convenience store (2 min walk). Living here lets you experience the rhythm of everyday Osaka, not just the tourist trail. 🛏The Room This 2-story house: on the 1st floor, a kitchen (fridge, microwave, rice cooker, kettle), dining area (4 seats), living room, washbasin, laundry space, bathroom (shower only, POLA amenities, Dyson hairdryer), and toilet. We had a great stay. The place was so homey, and so welcoming after exploring the city. It's close to train station, a beautiful park and convenience stores. We also loved that the bathroom and toilet are separate. A washing machine and laundry detergent are also available. We would love to stay here again, given the chance.

It was very cozy. Nicely furnished and super tidy. With the counter at the kitchen for eating, very good. Also nice hosts, responded quickly. We were very satisfied.

We loved our stay at Mei’s place in Osaka. The place was clean, quiet, spacious, very close to a beautiful shrine and a lovely park that was filled with crane birds and turtles. Will definitely come back again!
