About this home
Welcome to Tabitime Koji-Higashi, a three-story private house in a quiet residential neighborhood of Ikuno-ku, Osaka. ★Location Shoji Station is about a 2-minute walk away, with a convenience store and pharmacy right by the exit. Just a 2-minute walk from Shoji Station is "Kissa Izakaya Calme," an old-style coffee shop where you can start the day with a cup of coffee and toast. Three minutes away is the yakiniku restaurant "Shoran Honten," whose charcoal smoke drifts through the streets as locals head home from work. On weekends, take the train to Fuse Station (about 12 min walk) and wander the shopping street—cheap, honest food and household goods. In spring, cherry blossoms open along the nearby riverbank, and locals spread out picnic sheets for the afternoon. This is what daily life in Osaka looks like: the convenience store clerk nods good morning, kids on bicycles pass by after school, and the pharmacist downstairs knows the regulars by name. 🛏Rooms ・1F: garage, bedroom 1, bathroom (with bathtub), washroom, toilet ・2F: living room, kitchen, laundry room, workspace (desk + lamp), toilet ・3F: bedroom 2, bedroom 3, bedroom 4 (with desk) Four bedrooms give families or groups plenty of personal space. 🛋Amenities ・Appliances: TV (terrestrial + internet), washing machine, bathroom dryer, iron, drying rack ・Kitchen: fridge, microwave, electric kettle, IH stove, pots, dishes, dish soap ・Bath: shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hairdryer ・Hotel-grade disposables (per guest): toothbrush & toothpaste, hand soap, tissues, toilet paper, towels, slippers ・Parking: 1 space (fits up to a 4-seat car) ⚠️Please Note No elevator; the house has three floors with stairs. Guests say
Overall it felt really good, just the parking space is a bit small — if you're using a car, you'll need to rent a small one. Everything else was satisfying 👍 ... There's only space to put luggage in the hallway, not much room otherwise. The metro station is very close.
Very satisfied, will stay again.
Highly recommended, very quiet location in a residential area. Subway station a few minutes away. Some nice izakayas nearby. The apartment was very spacious for four people.
The building was clean, each room was private, and I could stay comfortably for multiple nights. It was close to the subway station, and the Kintetsu station was also within walking distance. There was a shopping street nearby, making it a convenient location in many ways.
Although there is only one bathroom, which was indeed inconvenient for the 7 of us, overall it was still pretty good.
This is a very clean and tidy homestay, suitable for a whole family. If you are on a self-drive trip, the free parking space provided by the unit can only fit a small car. The car I rented this time was a Mitsubishi Delica D:2, and it could fit. If you rent a 7-seater car, you will need to park in the nearby paid parking lot. There is a Family Mart a 1-minute walk away and a 7-Eleven 2 minutes away, making it very convenient for supplies. The host's check-in instructions were very clear, and the WiFi password and appliance usage instructions were also found in the living room. So I didn't need to communicate with the host at all because there were no issues.
