KidZania Koshien
KidZania Koshien is an indoor, child-sized city inside LaLaport Koshien where kids aged 3–15 try out real-world jobs — firefighter, pilot, pastry chef, doctor and many more — earning the park's own currency, 'kidZo', as they go.
Visits run in two sessions: 9:00–15:00 and 16:00–21:00. Children do the activities on their own while parents watch from outside each pavilion. Most activities are in Japanese, but KidZania runs some English-language programmes, which makes it a good fit for international families.
What to see and do
Dozens of pavilions, from a fire station to a bakery, where children put on a uniform and do the job with staff guidance.
KidZania offers activities conducted entirely in English (E@K) and a dedicated English Activities Program; check the Koshien schedule before you go.
Koshien has a space for guardians with little ones, including a Baby Gym, a play zone with blocks and minicars, and a diaper and nursing room.
Kids are paid in kidZo for their work and can save it or spend it on activities and goods inside the city.
Strollers and babies
Strollers are left in designated stroller parking inside (paths are narrow and cobbled). Koshien has a nursing room and diaper-changing room with baby food and powdered milk available, and changing tables in some restrooms.
Good to know
- Popular jobs fill quickly: head first to the pavilion your child cares about most, and use waiting times to plan the next one.
- Outside food is not allowed (baby food and allergy-related food excepted); one bottled drink per person is permitted.
