About this home
Welcome to Tabitime · Moku no Hana, a three-story private house tucked into the quiet residential streets of Kohama. ★Location Kohama Sta is about a 2-minute walk away. This isn't a tourist hotspot — it's a lived-in neighborhood in southern Osaka. Spend the day out in the city, come back to a quiet lane at night. That rhythm suits families and groups well. ⚡Quick look ・2 min walk to Kohama Sta ・Sleeps 8 / 2DK private house / 70㎡ ・19 min to Namba by train from Kohama Sta (direct) ・23 min to Shinsaibashi & Dotonbori by train from Kohama Sta ・Free high-speed WiFi 🚆Access & sightseeing From Kohama Sta: ・Namba — about 19 min by train (direct) ・Tennoji — about 15 min by train ・Tsutenkaku & Shinsekai — about 17 min by train ・Shinsaibashi & Dotonbori — about 23 min by train ・Umeda — about 31 min by train ・Osaka Aquarium — about 32 min by train ・USJ — about 33 min by train ・Osaka Castle — about 35 min by train ・Kansai Airport — about 59 min by train ・Nara — about 54 min by train ・Kobe Sannomiya — about 70 min by train ・Kyoto — about 72 min by train 🌸Neighborhood & culture Sumiyoshi Taisha is within walking distance, about 0.7 km. Walk the approach in the morning and you'll hear brooms sweeping, smell wood and leaves. Kohama Shotengai is the most interesting spot around — not made for tourists, but where locals buy vegetables, fish, and prepared food every day. Go after 5 pm and a small line forms outside the deli counters, the smell of fried food and soy sauce drifting out. About 5 min on foot is "Bunko Cafe Tasha no Hondana," a tiny cafe where you can browse the bookshelf and sit over one coffee all afternoon without being rushed. Hungry? "Tonkatsu Sawa," about 3 min away, serves crisp, thick-cut pork cutlets — the kind of taste locals grew up with. There are no high-rises here; after dark it's very quiet, with only the white glow of convenience stores. Staying here, you'll feel that Osaka isn't only the neon of Dotonbori — it also has corners where life moves slowly. 🛏Rooms Three-story private house, 2DK layout: ・1F Western room: 2 double beds ・2F Western room: 1 double bed ・2F living room: 1 sofa bed Sleeps up to 8 — good for families or groups of friends. 🛋Facilities & amenities ・Appliances: TV (terrestrial + internet), washer with dryer, bathroom dryer, iron, drying rack ・Kitchen: fridge, microwave, electric kettle, IH stove, pots, dishes, dish soap ・Bathroom: bathtub, shower, hairdryer ・Hotel-grade disposables (per guest): toothbrush & toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap, tissues, toilet paper, bath towels/hand towels, slippers, hangers, first-aid kit ⚠️Notes ・No elevator. It was really great. The room was nice and it felt very comfortable. Thank you very much.
This place is perfect, it offers plenty of freedom and the space you need. The host takes good care of this place and you can see that right away. The location puts everything essential within reach, and you'll find your way here even with your eyes closed. I'd gladly choose this place for every stay in Osaka.
We were really thrilled with this accommodation! Honestly, one of the best Airbnbs we've stayed in so far. Everything was super clean and tidy, the rooms were very pleasant, and we felt really comfortable right from the start. We'd especially like to highlight the communication with the host. Some of our questions were answered within just 10 minutes. Once we had a problem with the internet, but that was also solved extremely quickly and without any hassle. The location was perfect for us too. The train station is only about a 4-minute walk away, and there are plenty of good shopping options in the area, so you basically have everything you need right nearby. You can just tell that real effort is put in here to make guests feel comfortable. We would come back anytime and can truly recommend this accommodation 100%. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
Beautiful home located in a quiter part of Osaka. Highly recommend this property. This house was immaculate. Only issue was not knowing what to do with the rubbish on check out.
Stayed for 23 days, the landlords are very nice, we had a pleasant holiday!
