About this home
Welcome to Kohama・Teru! This is a two-story private house in Suminoe-ku, Osaka — the whole building is yours, sleeping up to 6 guests. ★Location The closest station is Tamade Sta, about a 4 min walk. Kohama Sta is about 7 min on foot, and Tezukayama Sta about 12 min. This is a quiet residential area in southern Osaka: head out for sightseeing by day, then come back to a calm neighborhood at night. Great value for the space. ⚡Quick look ・Tamade Sta — about 4 min walk ・2LDK private house, up to 6 guests ・46㎡, two floors, whole house ・Free high-speed WiFi ・Convenience store 3 min walk, supermarket 2 min walk 🚆Access & sightseeing From Tamade Sta you can take the train to sightseeing spots around Osaka. The nearest famous site is Sumiyoshi Taisha (about 1.1 km) — one of Osaka's most iconic old shrines, with its red arched bridge and tree-lined grounds. It's lively at New Year and during monthly festivals. 🌸The neighborhood What makes this area special is what you run into just outside the door. About 2 minutes toward Kohama is Osaka Palcoop Kohama, a supermarket where local shoppers gather in the evening to pick discounted side dishes — a scene more real than any guidebook. A few steps further, on Chinden-dori, are two small cafes, Kohi Biyori and Hanako. Order toast and coffee in the morning and watch the owner grind beans — that's a downtown Osaka morning. Kohama was once a fishing village, and narrow lanes and old shops still remain; on a walk you might catch the smell drifting from a fish-cake shop. Cherry blossoms along the Tamade River in spring, summer festivals in the shopping street, autumn leaves around Tezukayama — the seasons are something you can feel here. Walking home from Tamade Sta at night, with dim streetlights and a quiet block, the day's tiredness quietly melts away. 🛏Rooms 1st floor: kitchen, living room, bathroom, washbasin, toilet. 2nd floor: bedroom 1 (1 double bed), bedroom 2 (2 double beds). First of all, the location of this listing is excellent — very close to Tamade subway station, with convenience stores, hair salons, fast food places, and all kinds of restaurants nearby. We stayed as two people, so we found the room quite spacious. If you've just arrived upstairs and it happens to be raining, there can be a musty smell, but it goes away right after turning on the air conditioner. The facilities in the room are all very clean, and it really felt cozy staying here. I highly recommend it to everyone, and I'll definitely come back next time~~
The accommodation is well-equipped and conveniently located, close to the subway station. The only minor issue is a slight smell of wood in the room.
The room is clean, transportation is convenient, and the host responds quickly.
I was worried because there were no reviews, but it was such a great accommodation that my worries were unfounded! It was nice that the bedroom and living room were on separate floors. There was a large supermarket nearby, so it was convenient to shop. I'd like to stay here again next time.
It felt like experiencing a traditional Japanese home. The area around the accommodation was quiet and very nice, and it was close to the station. There was a slight slope going up to the second floor, so we left all our luggage on the first floor and just slept on the second floor, and we were able to rest well. Before sleeping, we had a nice chat with family on the first floor, drank beer, and had a great time! The second floor warmed up quickly when we turned on the heater, which was nice, but the first floor was a bit cold, which was a shame. However, even considering that, it was such a great accommodation that I recommend it!
Convenient transportation, great price.
