About this home

Welcome to "Asuka" — a traditional Japanese house in a quiet residential area, with two floors of space ideal for families or groups. 📍 Location Located in Sumiyoshi, southern Osaka, just a 3-minute walk from Kohama Station on the Nankai Main Line. It's away from the hustle and bustle, but easy to reach the city center. Enjoy the best of both worlds: sightseeing by day, peaceful nights in a real neighborhood. ⚡ Quick Facts ・Nearest station: Kohama Sta. (3 min walk) ・2LDK・Up to 5 guests・70㎡ ・Direct to Namba in about 19 min via Nankai Line ・Free high-speed WiFi 🚆 Access From Kohama Station: ・Namba: about 19 min (direct) ・Shinsaibashi/Dotonbori: about 23 min ・Tsutenkaku/Shinsekai: about 17 min ・Tennoji: about 15 min ・Osaka Castle: about 35 min ・Kaiyukan Aquarium: about 32 min ・Universal Studios Japan: about 33 min ・Kansai Airport: about 59 min ・Kyoto: about 72 min ・Nara: about 54 min ・Kobe Sannomiya: about 70 min 🌸 Neighborhood & Culture Kohama is a classic downtown area along the Nankai Line. Within walking distance is Sumiyoshi Taisha, one of Japan's oldest shrines, set in lush greenery — a favorite spot for locals to pray and relax. Sumiyoshi Park next door offers seasonal flowers. For daily needs, there's a supermarket, convenience stores, and a drugstore just a few minutes away. Staying here, you'll feel like you're living in Osaka, not just visiting. 🛏 Rooms On the first floor: a Japanese-style room (can add 1 extra bed), living room, kitchen, and bathroom. Upstairs: two bedrooms (each with a double bed), a toilet, and a balcony with table and chairs. Plenty of space for 5 guests to spread out. 🛋 Amenities ・Appliances: TV (terrestrial + internet), refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, rice cooker, oven, washing machine, hair dryer ・Kitchen: pots, dishes, dish soap (no seasonings) ・Bathroom: bathtub + shower, bath towels, face towels, slippers ・Hotel-grade toiletries: toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap, tissues, toilet paper (provided per guest) ⚠️ Notes ・This is a two-story house with no elevator; please be mindful if you have heavy luggage. ・Up to 5 guests, but there is only one toilet. Well-equipped, suitable for a family of four traveling and staying. Right next to Shinhama Station, convenient for going out. Only the toilet is a bit hot; you'll sweat when using it 😂
