Nankai or JR trains reach central Osaka in about 40 to 50 min. Then Dempo Station and 14 min on foot. Your guest portal shows the exact route with photos.
Midosuji subway from Shin-Osaka, or JR from Kyoto to Osaka Station. Then change for Dempo Station.

Tabi’s apartment was a few steps away from the market where local businesses are available. Everything you need will be right there in the market away from the locals. I loved the location. I come home to a quiet place after being in crowded touristy area. The community is friendly and helpful. It felt like living like a local but very close to the train station and the city for an easy commute.
