About this home
Welcome to Tabitime · Kobiru! 📍Location A quiet residential pocket of Nishinari, Osaka. Dobutsuen-mae Sta is about a 2-min walk, and Shin-Imamiya Sta about 7 min. Spend the day in the city, then come back to a calm street for a good night's sleep — that day-and-night contrast is the real value here. ⚡Quick look ・2 min walk to Dobutsuen-mae Sta / 7 min walk to Shin-Imamiya Sta ・1 bedroom — great for small groups ・Free high-speed WiFi ・From Shin-Imamiya Sta: Namba about 11 min direct / Shinsaibashi & Dotonbori about 14 min direct / Tennoji about 2 min direct 🚆Getting around (all times are train rides from Shin-Imamiya Sta, not including walk to the station) ・Tsutenkaku & Shinsekai: about 9 min direct ・Tennoji: about 2 min direct ・Namba: about 11 min direct ・Shinsaibashi & Dotonbori: about 14 min direct ・Osaka Castle: about 15 min direct ・Umeda: about 22 min direct ・Kaiyukan: about 19 min (with transfer) ・USJ: about 18 min (with transfer) ・Kansai Airport: about 50 min direct ・Kyoto: about 51 min (with transfer) ・Nara: about 40 min direct ・Kobe Sannomiya: about 50 min (with transfer) 🌸The neighborhood This is Osaka at its rawest and most everyday. A convenience store is 2 min away; Hanamizuki, a little café about 3 min off, is where you can start the morning with a cup of coffee. Walk toward Tsutenkaku and you hit Shinsekai — the birthplace of kushikatsu. In Janjan Yokocho, shogi pieces click against boards, standing bars are packed with regulars after work, and steam rolls out of Spa World's onsen. At dusk the Tsutenkaku lights come on and the whole street of signs glows at once — a dense Showa-era mood no filter can copy. The supermarket is about 4 min on foot; grab some seasonal fruit and prepared food and eat in your room — that's a fine way to travel, too. 🛏The room 1 bedroom — comfortable for small groups, with space to open your luggage. 🛋Amenities ・Appliances: hair dryer ・Bathroom: shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap, bath/face towels ・Hotel-grade disposables (per guest): toothbrush & toothpaste, tissues, toilet paper ・Other: slippers, hangers, first-aid kit ・No cooking seasonings (salt, pepper, oil) provided ⚠️Please note No elevator in this building. If your room is on a higher floor, keep this in mind with large luggage or limited mobility. Best for travelers who want to stay by Tsutenkaku, head into town by day, and return to a quiet street at night.

Comfortable, convenient, and affordable. The staff are all Chinese, and it's women-only. I had just arrived in Japan and wasn't used to the environment yet, but at the hostel I could feel completely relaxed, like being at home. Tsutenkaku and Don Quijote are right next door, so it's very convenient if you want to go shopping or eat! Recommended!
Cozy Retreat is an apt name for this accomodation. I had a very comfortable stay here. The area is easily accessable. That said, if you have mobility issues the stairs and actual room set up may be a problem; as you need to hoist yourself up to the top bunk. That said, it's well designed and women only. If I ever visit Japan again I would like to stay again.
It's good, but the shared shower room is a bit small. Considering the value for money, I'm very satisfied. The location isn't bad either, and I'd recommend it as a solo travel accommodation.
Very good accommodation, it is very well located and has everything nearby.
Great privacy, easy check-in, close to the station, would come again if I have the chance.
I had a great stay! the place was very clean, cozy, and comfortable. The location was excellent, just a few steps from the train station and within walking distance of Tsutenkaku. Everything was convenient, and I enjoyed my time in Osaka. Highly recommended!💖💖💖
